Ori Hampel, MD, is Founder and Managing Partner of Adult and Pediatric Urology of Houston, LLP. He earned his BA degree from Case Western Reserve University, where he was elected into Phi Beta Kappa as he completed a triple major in biochemistry, English, and chemistry. He then received his MD degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Upon completing medical school, Dr. Hampel moved to Houston to obtain his graduate training in General Surgery and Urology at Baylor College of Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology.
Since finishing his training in 1998, Dr. Hampel has been practicing adult and pediatric urology and urologic surgery in the Greater Houston Area. He was named one of “Houston’s Top Docs” by H Texas Magazine.
Dr. Hampel has served the Harris County Medical Society on the Board of Socioeconomics and on the Managed Care Committee. For many years, he has been serving as a Delegate to the Texas Medical Association House of Delegates.
Dr. Hampel has been a physician leader in hospitals in our region. He has served in various roles including Chairman of Surgery Department, Chairman of Surgical Subspecialties Department, Vice Chairman of Surgery Department, and Member of the Medical Executive Committee.
